Please somebody help me! I don't kwow how convert AVI to MPEG there's always a message of error... I don't konow what can I do...

1.Start up MediaCoder

2.Click on the I agree radio button and on the Skip Setup Wizard button, then close the window that appears after that.

3. Drag and drop the .flv files you downloaded into the large white area in Media Coder

4. Click on the Video tab in the lower left-hand section on the window and select XviD in the Format drop-down menu.

5. Click the large Start buttonon the top toolbar window to start transcoding your video.

6. When completed a window will propmt you saying that transcoding is completed, go your file's original location and an .AVI file shoudl be there with the same file name. Now you can play it with Windows Media or your favorite media player.

I followed the steps above to convert a mov file to avi but it only produced sound. How can I get the video to work?

Problems loading MediaCoder

I have tried unsuccessfully to load MediaCoder on 2 different PCs. Every time I try and open the software I get the message "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application." Both PCs are running on XP (one home, the other professional)

Solution: When you get this error message, you have to go to http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/dlvcredist.htm to get an update.

Next question: Is there anything else to do if the aforementioned solution didn't work ? I did as suggested and it didn't help. I am able to run version 0.5.1 but with 0.6 the error persists... OK, problem solved: I needed another distributive, a later version with a service pack...

how do i make a mpeg 4 in to a mpeg 2?
